"A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words":
Photos of crucial items are included in my report, not as a separate attachment. In the home inspection business this old saying is very true. Pictures are one of the most basic but most important components of any report. Excellent photographs provide a clear view of the risk and provide clients with a good opinion of the inspector and the report's overall quality. Conversely, poor quality photographs can overshadow even the best written report to the point that it is considered substandard in the eyes of the client. Photographs are used by my clients and their realtors to verify the information I provide and to visually communicate that information to agents and policyholders. Photographs are undeniably one of the most important components of and inspectors reports! It is not rocket science but the amount of reports I have seen with blurred photos or debris on the lens is mind numbing.
I use the latest in digital test equipment
Before you invest hundreds of thousands of dollars in a Texas Home; be sure you hire TOC Home Inspections to verify that your home does not contain major defects that could cost you thousands of dollars after you move in. I am State licensed; Nationally Certified.
Tile Roof inspections
I am also a certified - Tile Roof Specialist by TRI - Tile Roofing Institute. Who better to inspect your tile roof installation than someone that is certified in the installation methods and procedures.
"Did you know?" One of the top complaints to TREC (Texas Real Estate Committee) is finding out that they have roof problems! After they have had their home inspected! I walk the roofs, unless the pitch is too steep, or it is raining. If I can not walk it, I will at least try to put a ladder up to the eaves and look for any problems. Observing a roof from the ground with binoculars, just doesn't cut it and most home inspectors don't walk on a roof.
Certified Mold Consultant
by TDLR License #MAC1605
Indoor air contamination is an emotionally charged issue. Mold spores can cause allergic reactions, especially to people with asthma, allergies or a compromised immune system. A causal link between more serious health effects and mold exposure is a topic of debate and on-going research within the scientific community.
The Main Thing About MOLD is Don't Wait!
Call Terry Acra as Soon as Possible (281) 702-0542
While not all mold in Texas produces Mycotoxins—poisonous metabolites capable of causing death and disease— a variety of molds can biodegrade organic materials like wood and water-soluble minerals (including gypsum, used in drywall/sheetrock), leading to property damage. Left unchecked, mold can quickly form into unsightly large colonies wherever moisture or humidity exist.

"When most people go in a house, they look at how it's decorated and how it's laid out, but really do not look at potential problems," As your inspector I go onto the property wearing a different hat "so to speak." I'm looking for the problems or potential problems, and to inform you of them. I will slowly and methodically walk you through your prospective home and fully educate you on all of its features in order for you to fully understand your property. I will assess those areas where upgrades or replacements may be necessary and screen for those costly defects and safety issues that could lead to problems in your future living conditions.
